Whoever thought Paula Deen’s career was a wrap better think again.
Some of Deen’s die-hard fans are sticking’ with the butter queen and sticking’ it to the companies who dropped her like a hot skillet.
They’re sending cleaned butter wrappers to the Food Network and the rest of the copy-cat companies.
A guy named John Schmitt started the Butter for Paula campaign and even created a website and Facebook page that’s scooped up more than 600,000 likes.
Their slogan: “A corporation without Paula Deen is like a butter wrapper without butter.”
Schmitt says the whole thing is more about self-expression than results.
We just have one question. What’s everybody doing’ with all that butter?
