JERSEY VILLAGE, TX – It’s great to see kids coming together for a purpose. Especially if that purpose is to help spread the word about Multiple Sclerosis, the disease that affects between 2 to 2.5 million people globally. One of them is Rita Joubran.
Earlier this year, Rita’s kids, along with their cousins, got together and decided to help. That help ended up being music to the ears of many dealing with MS. Their goal is to get more people to know about this crippling disease with the hopes that someday something can be done about it.
Which brings us to the BP MS150, the annual bike ride that goes from Houston to Austin and raises money to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. This year it’s going to be held on April 12th and 13th and the kids will be cheering Rita on once again for her 3rd ride. You can also come together to help beat this disease, just go to “National Multiple Sclerosis Society.org” to see how you can help.
