TALLAHASSE, FL – All across America it`s a call for change and justice.
The George Zimmerman case has sparked a fire for many. Zimmerman was found not guilty in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
Protestors gathered nationwide for ‘National Justice for Trayvon Day.’
Over a hundred rallies were held outside federal courthouses across the U.S. Protestors want Zimmerman to be charged by federal prosecutors.
In Florida, they`re asking for the repeal of the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law that allows force in self-defense with no duty to retreat.
But a change in the law seems unlikely. Florida`s governor Rick Scott met with protestors, and while he says he`s also mourning the death of Trayvon Martin, he supports the law and won`t be changing it.
