It’s time for: The good, the bad & the ugly–4th of July edition!
The Good:
New York City, D.C. and Atlanta. These cities get an A+ for their dazzling fireworks displays.
It pretty much goes down hill from here, folks!
The Bad:
Simi Valley, California gets a big ol’ F for fail! Twenty-eight people were hurt when a fireworks display fired sideways into a crowd of about 10,000.
“We had bits and pieces of fireworks coming at us, a big round cylinder block hit the person next to me,” says Gregory Perkins, who witnessed the spectacular fail.
The fireworks in Seattle may have gone off without a hitch, but bad stuff happened right before the big show.
Seattle firefighters say illegal fireworks sparked a fire at a dry boat storage area.
Racks of boats stacked four stories high burned to a crisp.
