The shirts don’t say Ware’s name. They say ‘Ri5e to the Occasion.’ Guess who wears no. 5?
The t-shirts rubbed some people the wrong way. Profiting off an amateur players injury just wasn’t sitting right. That prompted Louisville to reportedly decide to forfeit their royalties, and Adidas to give a portion of sales to the school’s scholarship fund.
It’s too bad the NCAA won’t let Ware get a few bucks. It’s his torn-up tibia! At least he will probably get a free shirt. And who couldn’t use some free Ware wear.
