CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA – In news about someone getting in trouble for something they posted on the internet; things are going downhill for a professional skateboarder in South Africa. Literally!
Decio Lourenco posted a video of himself skating down a busy road on YouTube.
In it, he reached speeds of up to 68 miles per hour in his attempt to set off a speed camera.
The speed limit is 37.
Now Cape Town city officials are saying you can’t do that.
They want him arrested, and they went and narked to traffic officials.
Okay, what Lourenco did was pretty dangerous. But what law he broke isn’t clear.
We’ll see if he can skate his way out of this one.
