HOUSTON – Over a month has passed since more than 200 girls were kidnapped from their school in northeastern Nigeria by a terrorist organization.
While their parents desperately wait for news of their daughters’ whereabouts, Houstonians are doing their part to bring awareness to the situation.
Members of Bring Back Our Girls Project Houston and Queens Support Queens joined together for a rally to show support to the missing girls and their families.
“These could be your family members, these could be your friends, this could be you,” rally attendee Jessica Sonny Lewis said.
A powerful message of solidarity sent from Houston all the way to some very scared families in Nigeria: Bring back our girls.
