This heavenly dessert is light and delicious. You can buy the biscuits or make them yourself. Either way, the white chocolate sauce ties this treat together. It’s sure to delight!
Ingredients:
White Chocolate Strawberry Shortcake – Feel Treated
Biscuits:
- ½ cup white whole wheat flour
- ¾ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp sugar
- Dash of salt
- ¼ cup coconut milk (full fat)
Berries n’ cream:
- 3 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup coconut milk
- Dollop of whipped cream (consider whipped coconut milk)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400F.
To prepare the biscuits, sift the dry ingredients. Slowly stir in the coconut milk and form a ball. Divide into 4 equal parts, and gently pat into small biscuits. Bake on an ungreased baking sheet for about 5 minutes.
For the berry mixture, combine the white chocolate and coconut milk in a small pot over medium heat. Stir often until the chips melt completely.
Tear the biscuits into pieces. In 4 small bowls, mix berries and biscuit pieces. Distribute the white chocolate sauce over each serving. Top with a dollop of whipped cream.
