UKRAINIAN – If it seems like the conflict in Ukraine has settled down to a simmer after nearly boiling over back in March, these images taken from space might change your mind.
NATO released satellite images showing 40,000 Russian troops gathered along Ukraine’s borders.
And according to NATO, this is not a drill – these soldiers are ready for combat.
YouTube videos claim to show heavy-duty military vehicles moving into place along the border.
While the videos have yet to be verified, Ukraine is nervous enough to start digging massive trenches and installing concrete barriers.
As troops are deployed and walls are built, the relationship between the two countries continues to crumble.
Obviously, there’s worry that this military game of chicken will end in warfare, but so far neither side seems ready to yield.
