DALLAS, TX – The Final Four is headed to Texas and people are seeing their chance at winning a championship as a chance to win some extra dough.
If you search Craigslist you’ll find people offering to rent rooms, homes, even backyards if you have a tent for basketball fans looking for a place to crash.
A University of Texas at Arlington student is offering her dorm room.
“I’m a broke college student, so any way to bring revenue in,” says Daphne.
You can rent Daphne’s 520 square foot dorm room.
“Right, yeah, I’m all about small businesses. Like, come support people who are like willing to, because this is the thing, people pay to go traveling around the country, staying in people’s houses.”
Looks like Daphne is using the big game as a big lesson in entrepreneurship.
