HOUSTON, TX – Here’s something guaranteed to brighten your day, the Houston Zoo welcomed an adorable new addition – a tiny gecko!
This little guy is fantastic, literally. His species name is fantastic leaf-tailed gecko.
Don’t rush off to the zoo for a visit, though, he’s not ready for his close-up just yet.
He has a little more growing to do before he can take visitors, and will be four to six inches long as an adult.
The species is also known as the Satanic Leaf Tailed gecko, because of the pointy ridges above their eyes, but come on, there’s nothing devilish about this guy.
