HOUSTON, TX – If you’ve been out to the rodeo, you know it seems to get bigger and bigger every year. When you lose something, finding it is pretty much a lost cause, or is it?

Thousands of items have been turned into the rodeo’s lost and found. From hats and clothing, to the most common items which include cell phones, keys and wallets.

But some items, you’d think should be a little harder to lose, such as a prosthetic leg.

To very expensive items like jewelry kept behind lock and key, that even we couldn’t see.

The folks at the rodeo take good care of your items if they’re turned in, making for some stress relieving moments.

Something that gets turned in with a hundred percent return rate, thank goodness, is children.

Along with all the other lost items lost kids are brought to the lost and found office on the first floor of Reliant Center. Last year 394 kids were misplaced. So far this year, it’s 54. But we’re still early!

If you lost something and think it’s a lost cause; it’s not!
