TROUTDALE, OR – This wasn’t your typical police chase.
Officers in Troutdale, Oregon say they were pursuing this car Wednesday afternoon after trying to stop the driver for a minor traffic violation.

You can see from the police cruiser’s dashcam, that a woman gets out of the car and jumps into the water.
Officers immediately call for river rescue while they detain the other person inside the vehicle.
Rescuers were able to get the 26-year-old driver out of the freezing river and take her to the hospital, where she was cited for a number of crimes.
