HOUSTON – Craigslist deals are always risky.
But while one Houston man took every precaution, there is no way he could have predicted what would happen to him.
He listed eight Jay Z tickets on Craigslist and set up to meet the buyers at a Heights-area Starbucks. It was in the middle of the day, and he didn’t go alone.
According to the police report, Denitra Green and Cessica Darden told the man to meet them outside because they had a baby in the car. He approached the car, leaned into the window with the tickets, and Green drove off with the man still holding on to the car. The police reports says Darden kicked the man as Green drove. He eventually fell, and Green drove over him and sped away.
We’re told the man was left with a broken arm, a broken leg, a broken ankle, crushed fingers, a torn knee and severe road rash to his face and body. Doctors say he will likely be left with permanent disfigurement.
As for Green and Darden, cops busted them at the Jay Z concert. They reportedly admitted to the crime, and both women are charged with aggravated robbery. Only Green has been arrested.
Hope it was worth it, ladies. Those court fees are sure to be more expensive than a couple of concert tickets.
