WADSWORTH, IL – It’s more than a week after Christmas, and many Americans are still waiting on packages.
Alane Church was one of those people. But what she found inside of her very delayed package is something she just couldn’t keep boxed up.
There was a second package inside, already opened, that wasn’t hers. The senders were Sasha and Malia Obama.
It was a photobook with pictures of the first family, intended for the girls’ godmother.
Of course, Church is sending the gift to its rightful owner.
“I really care about photographs and books and all that stuff, so I thought, she’s going to really be missing not having this. And I verified her address, and we want to get it to her ASAP,” she said.
It appears not even the president is immune to mail service issues.
