HOUSTON, TX – NASA says one of two cooling systems on the International Space Station has been shut down, due to temperature fluctuations on-board.
The cause of the problem is still being identified, but in the meantime, nothing can be fixed. It’s not clear whether a spacewalk will be necessary, or if the malfunction is software related instead. It may be another day before more information is available.
NASA says the astronauts are not in any imminent danger.
