ELLENWOOD, GA – Ayvani Perez has been found.
Police say the 14-year-old girl had been in extreme danger. She was taken from her home in the Atlanta area early Tuesday morning. Police say two armed intruders broke in through the back door, demanded jewelry and money, shot the family dog and took the girl. A nationwide amber alert had been in effect, until Perez was safely rescued on Wednesday.
In the meantime, 13-year-old Lillie Warren says she was essentially abducted by her mom three years ago. But now, she too is home safe.
“The most important part is my father here. I’m really excited to be home,” she says.
Lillie’s mom is expected to be charged with parental kidnapping. Her dad had to fight the system to get her back.
