NEW ORLEANS, LA – It seems Rick Perry gets more attention these days when he’s off-point rather than on-point.
Well the good ol’ Governor did it again, but this time it seems he could use a lesson in geography. During his speech he said:
‘There are many other states that embrace those conservative values, the approach that we’ve taken over the years. I’m in one today – in Florida. You look at South Carolina. You look at Florida.’
The only problem, he was in New Orleans. Someone from the crowd even shouted out, “You’re in Louisiana,” to which the governor quickly responded, “I know, and I said that, I’m in one of those states that reflects those today, in Louisiana.”
Nice try, Perry, but it looks like he’s got another ‘oops’ moment down for the books.
