HOUSTON, TX – While Quanell X rallied followers to march through River Oaks, another protest was taking place: the Stand Your Ground Protest.
While some of the intentions of this group were to support the ‘stand your ground’ laws, many of the signs and protestors have suggested it’s more about opposing Quanell X. The only real conflict consisted of yelling back and forth across a line of police horses separating the two groups.
While the stand your ground protestors didn’t have as big of a following, some of them pursued the opposing protest.
