A week after a deadly train accident in Canada, investigators in France are dealing with a similar situation.
A passenger train just south of Paris jumped the tracks on Friday as it passed through a station.
Investigators believe it may have been caused by a malfunctioning rail-switching device.
At least six people were killed and more than 20 others were injured.
This after the death toll in Canada has risen to 30, while around 30 remain missing possibly vaporized after 72 crude oil tanker cars jumped the track and exploded.
Investigators there are looking into the accident as a possible criminal act.
